What is he *really* thinking about?

Plus: earring trends, laundry hacks, walking, and tiny living rooms

Mr6am, take me to Naples!

The blood of St. Januarius- bishop, martyr, and patron saint of Naples- liquified yesterday, on the saint’s feast day. The first recorded instance happened in 1389 and typically occurs three times a year. Some years, though, it doesn’t liquify. In local lore, that’s a signal that war, famine, or drought will plague the city. With how crazy the world is, I think I’ll take advantage of 2023’s fair weather warning. Ciao! ✈

LAUNDRY HACKS: It takes 30 minutes to wash, 60 minutes to dry, and 7-10 business days to put away.😑 We all could use some help. So, here’s what the big guns families are doing. One family does a wash/dry/fold/put away one load each day. Here’s one mom who does laundry once a week. This woman suggests a laundry basket for each member of the family—no sorting, no mixing, no folding, return-to-sender when washed. Mrs6am’s advice? Call your mom or your aunt and cry a little. They’ll always show up with a smile and amazing folding skills. 🤗

If you’ve got it altogether, then you’ll want this ultimate list of laundry hacks to take your pile to the next level.

MEN: Et tu, maritus? Men have Rome on the mind. Specifically, the Roman Empire. But, how often do they think about the Roman Empire? According to the latest social media trend, pretty often. Women have been asking their men this question, and the response is shocking— from once a week to 3x a day. Maybe it’s the gladiatorial games, the politics, the togas, the great speeches, the language? The jury is out on why, but here’s a book if you’re looking to speak his language (Thanks, Dad!).

EXERCISE: No motivation. No equipment. No gym—No problem. We got you. Don’t overestimate the power of a good morning walk. Why morning? The morning sun can boost your mood and set you up for better sleep at night. Self generated optic flow- the actual movement of objects that we pass by- alters our emotional state. It even puts our brains in a state of relaxation.🤯 If that’s not enough, walking in a fasting state (before breakfast) can get your body into a state of fat burning earlier in the day. Send this to a potential walking buddy, and you can add “frienship building” to the list.

JEWELRY: Forget landscaping— earscaping is on our radar this fall. Yes, you heard that right. Draw attention to those lovely lobes with a chunky ear cuff. It’s the perfect, low-risk way to stay on trend. Bigger is better IMO, but minimal is so delicate and feminine (and, in this case, sustainable and affordable). Either way, you’ll be up to your ears in compliments. 💫

A list of things to teach your son (in no particular order): how to fish, how to hunt, knife and gun safety, love for nature and conservation, public speaking, how to throw a punch, how to change a tire, how to sell yourself with good conversation and a handshake, when to tip, how to tell a joke, how to talk to women, how to treat women, how to treat her parents, and when to hold your tongue (almost always).

Could you take a minute and share Mrs6am with a friend? We’re trying to grow this thing. Help us grow to 4K- we’re almost there. Thank you so much!

Have a fantastic week, you beautiful women, you,
