And it has to be planned in advance 🙄. So, let me get this straight. Type A people with self-control now have to pre-plan their pleasure to avoid depression? Sheesh.

WEDDING GUEST: Wedding szn is here, and TikTok is buzzing with the new wedding dress color trends — greens, pinks, yellows, and peach. 🍑 Before you splurge: find your color, shop your color, rock your color — use this easy test to find the best color for your skin tone, eyes, and hair.

Now you’re ready. If green is your go-to, this dress gives you all the lush feels: floral, pleats, embroidery, and cinched waist. For the no-dress kind of girl, the silky pink blazer set. UNDERWEAR: Your underwear drawer needs an update. You know it. I know it. So, let’s get intimate and update your drawer(s).

First, stock up. But how many? When buying new, stay within a color scheme so you can mix and match. Here’s the best rated inexpensive brand, here’s the splurge, the best period underwear, and here’s best the sustainable option. Second, make them last. Use a lingerie bag and hang to dry your lacey pieces. Third, organize. Use this container or opt for clear drawer dividers. And did you know there was this many ways to fold undies?

FAST FASHION: It’s the end of the (thrifting) world as we know it. ⚰ And I don’t feel fine. The culprit? Fast fashion. I’m a big offender here, mea culpa, but in the name of grandma’s garments and hand stitched hats, here are some baby steps for the wannabe sloooow fashionistas.

First, buy less — easier said than done, I know. 😏 Second, go secondhand — thrifting or look for hand-me-downs. Third, repair damaged clothing. Fourth, know your style with the three word method because it will keep you from bad impulse buys. Fifth, buy ethical if you can.

None of us can do it all: use only non-plastic water bottles, change your water system to reverse-osmosis, use only resusable diapers, buy raw milk, and get rid of all your non-stick cookware. You’re not this girl. We aren’t either. But, a couple small changes is doable. And we can’t wait to show you who we’ve partnered with to bring beauty to your home without the guilt. 🥳
